House with Garden on the Hills of Lugano

A small building constructed in the early 1990s, a single-family home expressing the typical elements and character of that period’s architecture soon to be inhabited by a dynamic and sporty family of four.

The project transforms the building’s aesthetic and character, seeking a constructive dialogue with all the elements that cannot be replaced. The intervention, which involves only minor demolitions, redefines the original functional layout generating a new relationship with the outdoor spaces. New uses and circulation directions establish a renewed sense of continuity between the interior and the exterior.
