Small Buildings for Mountain Activities

Masterplan for the Organization of Three Buildings on the Amazzonia Slope in Madonna di Campiglio

The project involves the re-functionalization of a traditional alpine hut and the activation of exterior spaces through the addition of two small buildings: a hotel with thirteen rooms and a pavilion for post-ski activities. The design uses a single cladding material, grey-anthracite stained wood. The pavilion is a simple volume that aims to appear as if it is embedded in the snow or the ground, oriented in relation to the ski slope’s path.
